The Blog Council Has Spoken

We noticed that there were two types of groups this week: the achievers, those who actually went to the library to check out a new book and the slackers, those who had already read the book and used it for their post or had the book already lying around in their room and finally decided to pick it up. After a strenuous debate amongst the blog council members the following people received these awards for their blog posts:

Super slacker award Paul for just now opening a book assigned last semester / not finding a new book

Grandma’s boyZach

Slacker award Scout (The Help)

Slacker but funny writing style / relates to class — Brooke (The Hunger Games); had already read

How am I a slacker? I got my book from the New Books section of the library…

      1) Some people on BC were out for revenge.
      2) We read this: “This past semester at Bucknell I took a class called Jazz, Rock, and Race, and although I learned a bit more about Brown’s music and biography, I was still curious to know more. So, I took this opportunity to look through the book The One: The Life and Music of James Brown by RJ Smith.” to mean the book was from your class. The way it is written sounded like you had the book last semester and only just now opened it. Sorry for the confusion.

On the other hand, you could have written more clearly. 😉

Can you provide other evidence of temporary slackerdom on your part so we can update the post?
